For the third day in a row, people have protested the replacement of former Superintendent Creg Williams with Dr. Diana Bourisaw.
Yesterday evening, in front of City Hall, two dozen people carried signs critical of the school board majority and shouting, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it!" They also gathered signatures on a petition of "no confidence" which they plan to turn over to the school board and the media later.
Among the protesters once again were ousted Vashon basketball coach Floyd Irons and local sports personality Demetrius Johnson, whose sister's job with SLPS was eliminated the same day as Irons'.
State senate candidate Jeff Smith also joined the picketers Wednesday. In an interview with PUB DEF, he said he joined in their disappointment in the board's decision to force out Williams.
"I didn't think he had a fair shot to see his plan through," said Smith.

They all voted, not just Veronica. That place was a zoo with loud mouthed bullies. It was amazing they were able to do any business. Don't worry so much though, it's an easy fix! Also when you go look at the post check out Sylvester Brown Jr. Now there's a guy who knows what he's talking about. You will have to type his name in the site search. For some reason his articles always get buried away from an easy click.

Well, the protesters have gone back into their respective holes. What happened to the thousand folks that we were told to expect?

What if Jeff wins on Aug. 8th? Then the city will have failing Charters ( I think that is a fact) and a diruptive board faction-the three amigos.
Remember to think before you vote.
